I was seeing a different vet who could not get me in for a week and a half to look at a lump we found on our dog. I called Great Rivers and they got her in within 2 hours, and they also offered to update her vaccines since when I called my other vet 3ish weeks before they were due I was told next available appt was first week of April (nearly a month after they were due)....

I’ve been going to Pope Animal Hospital for a few years now. I have always gotten friendly and professional care and have had no issues getting appointments. I love that the waiting area isn’t jammed full of animals waiting to be seen-that always adds extra anxiety for my dog.

This was our first visit to Great Rivers Animal Hospital. The experience was a very good one. Great staff who were very pleasant and friendly. The tech and vet were both very attentive to the needs of my dogs. Plan on using them as our vet location here in Alton .

This animal hospital is great. They love animals, as any vet service should, but they take great care of guardians also. The staff is patient, thorough, and compassionate. We have had all our animals cared for by them for over twenty years.
